Can you believe it? The last week of Term 3 is here! It’s been amazing to watch all of our students improve over the past couple of months, and we can’t wait to see where Term 4 will take them.

While we believe each student deserves to relax, unwind, and enjoy the holiday break, we also hope that every dancer will do these 3 things to make sure they are ready to jump back in to the studio for Term 4:

1. Stretching

Remind your dancer to make time to stretch during the holidays! Even a quick, 10-minute stretching session while he or she is watching TV or before your family leaves for a day trip can help your child maintain the flexibility that we’ve been developing over the past term.

2. Sweating

We hope that each of our dancers will remain active over the holidays and have several opportunities to get their heart rates up. Maintaining the stamina that we’ve been working to build over the past term will ensure that your child won’t miss a beat when we arrive back to class.

3. Reviewing Choreography

When Term 4 begins, we will be in crunch time for the End of Year Show and for some upcoming competitions. It is important that the students come back to class with their choreography fresh in their mind. This way, we won’t have to spend time reviewing old material -- instead, we can keep moving forward, polishing our dances, and getting ready to hit the stage!

Keep up the hard work, dancers. We can’t wait to see you all again after the holidays! <3
